Twice a year – once in the fall and once in the winter – we host a SJSF Youth and Student Climate Convergence. Our convergences bring together young people from across Massachusetts and New England to be trained in organizing, plan actions, share ideas, and get to know each other better.

Our Next Convergence: Winter 2014

We are currently gearing up to host our Winter 2014 convergence, which will take place from January 31 – February 2, 2014. We’ll announce the exact location once we have a space confirmed, but it will be in the Boston area. 

At this convergence, we will be mainly focusing on planning a big action centered on the Governor Patrick Climate Legacy Campaign. We’ll also be holding trainings on topics including anti-oppression and campaign strategy, will hear inspirational talks from local organizers and frontline community activists, and will have plenty of time for bonding!
